Hi All,

Just a quick question what others have done with systems that have VM disabled on each extension. Is there a nice way to get an engaged / busy signal when someone calls or tried to transfer a call to an extension that is busy, rather than "Voicemail disabled for this extension" message. The other option is to end call that is a bit abrupt.

Most of the systems I've setup have had VM, so this is new.

Any ideas or guidance would be appreciated.

I guess it depends on what you are trying to accomplish? I mean I think a message saying that VM is disable for that extension and then dropping the call is more informative than just a busy signal. Maybe tell us what you would like and then someone can tell you how to accomplish that?

Hello @hood

Another idea would be to create your custom prompt set and replace the voicemail_disabled prompt with something else leaving the prompt name the same so the PBX plays your prompt when a caller reaches the voicemail of an extension.
