Novice need help to start

Hi all,

I am a novice on this area (VOIP). I just download 3cx and I bought a SPA-841 and a LG broadvox ip phone. My VOIP provider is Vontastic with linksys phone adapter SPA2101. My question is do ask my voip provider for stun server and sip server? One my ip phone has dial tone but I can not callout nor recieve.

You need to
1) Create an extension for your voip phone. Have it setup to use the 3CX as the sip server.
2) Create a line for your voip provider using their server address, account name, passwords etc.

Once that is done, dial 9 and you should be able to dial out.

Are you sure the add PSTN part is correct? Seems like its pointing to a voip provider instead of poiting to a PSTN gateway like it would be normal on a PSTN line...
