number format for outgoing SMS messages

Hello. We are using 3cx v20. Configured generic Siptrunk, SMS is enabled by using a custom template.
SMS works properly when sent in 11-digit format.
When a user tries to send an SMS to another user from the address book, where the number is specified in 10-digit format, it fails.
Is there an option to prepend +1 to numbers sent in 10-digit format when sending SMS?
It doesn't seem that Outbout rules apply to SMS.

Hi in order to user SMS with the system these must be in e+164 format. You will need to check that the contacts are stored in that format, otherwise it will fail.
