Hey!

how can I handle numbers like this:
+49(0)401234567
The "0" is obsolete because of the country code. But many numbers have the format on webpages.

Whe using the softclient I can reformat the number in outgoing rules, but my Fanvil phones are not able to handle those numbers.

Any suggestions welcome.

Have you tried creating an outbound rule

Calls to number starting with prefix = 00490

Route settings - strip 5 digits , prepend 0049

Yes, I did. And it worked with my 3CX Softphone, but not with a Fanvil Deskphone

That means the phones send the number is a different format, run a wireshark capture and check how the number is being sent from the IP phone to the PBX so you can construct your outbound rule accordingly
