one way audio after update from v16 to v18

Hi guys,
Last night I updated the 3cx v16 to v18 and as a result when remote stun users called each other, they would have one way audio
When they called at the HQ where the pbx is located it was working properly
I restored the VM back to v16 and everything was back to normal.
Any ideas ?

Sounds like "PBX Delivers Audio" needs to be enabled.

Also, when upgrading the system, make sure to upgrade the phones firmwares and reprovision them so that they get the latest config. That can prevent many issues.

Side note: STUN isn't great if you have multiple phones behind the same firewall.

Have you configure the phones , the 3cx support way https://help.3cx.com/help/en-us/9-ip-phones/197-why-are-my-stun-phones-not-working

If you have one phone at the location, you may get away with doing the above but you need to tick ‘pbx delivers audio’. If you still have issues you need to configure the network settings as per info in the above url

Do not rely on STUN phones "it was working previously" state to mean anything. Unless the above is done like the link @Saqqara pasted, then they could stop working at any given moment without warning.
