outbound Caller ID format

hi all,

currently our number format is set so that our numbers show as 02074444444 ... is it possible to set this so that it displays as 0207 444 4444.

i ask as we sync all info horugh office 365 and our email signatures display better with the latter than the former.

Are you talking about the number format as sent to a called party?
If so, then, normally, the formatting of caller ID is done by the device at the receiving end.

yeah the "Outbound Caller ID"

essentially this is sync'd from the numebr in office 365, but i'm getting a request to display the number in a more readable format on our signatures which sync's the same option. however changing the format stops the 3cx client dialling out.

What message do you get when you change the format on the 3CX Client and which 3CX client are you using? The call may be failing due to the fact that the SIP Provider does not allow such formatting. Which SIP Provider are you using? I'd recommend confirming if there are any formatting limitations regarding the Caller ID first.
