Upgraded to 15.5 a month ago and a new problem has come up suddenly.

Randomly callers will attempt an outbound call and the call will go to the main incoming menu as if they are calling in from the outside.

the logs show nothing but
Code:
01/31/2019 1:46:17 PM - [CM505001]: Endpoint Extn:264: Device info: Device Not Identified: User Agent not matched; Capabilities:[reinvite, replaces, able-no-sdp, recvonly] UserAgent: [Yealink SIP-T32G 32.70.0.228] PBX contact: [sip:[email protected]:5060]

Ran the firewall checker all is fine

When the user hangs up and dials again that call goes thru , sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries.to get the call thru.

Hello,

I would start by looking at the outbound rules to see what happens in case the provider is not available or all simultaneous calls are reached. You can set your activity log to Verbose for troubleshooting purposes and try to replicate the issue.

If you are familiar with wireshark though, a capture will give you more information as to what exactly happens when the call fails vs when the call is successful.

I think I am mis-interpreting the error. Is between the phone and the 3cx server or between 3cx and the Sip provider ?

Looks like its the phone and 3cx server.

Is there some correlation between the outside number being called, and the IVR number? Is it outside numbers at random, or a pattern? Do you use an outside access prefix?

random and happening alot

looks like the system is not able to verify the sip user and password ?

The logs only seem to show a snippet of what is happening. You may needed to look at one call, (perhaps after hours when it is quiet), that has an issue, and set the logs to verbose, to see more detail, like the full Invite and routing. there should be information on the digits dialled, and why the call routes where it does. None of that is shown in the logs you posted.

How complicated are your outbound rules? One route... outside prefix used? Based simply on digit length or actual prefix(s).

this is a verbose feed with an error the local extension hung up when the call went to the IVR

    this is an intermittent problem
When caller make a call instead of it going out to the callee it goes to the pbx IVR main menu. If they hang up and dial again it goes thru. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries but once the call goes thru it is fine.

sorry Note the

some of SIP/SDP headers contain inconsistent information or modified by intermediate hop

What does your network consist of, what hardware? Besides the router (what make/model), and a modem of some sort, what else is there? Firewall, intelligent server of some sort?

Its comcast router to a Edgemarc 4550 router then to a dell PC windows 7 (firewall disabled) with 3 cx
Netgear 724P switches, phones on vlan 2 ports tagged for voip vlan 2 and phones on VLan 2
Switch port for VLAN2 to the router is also tagged

Its comcast router to a Edgemarc 4550

So...I'm assuming that there is a Bridge port on the Comcast router that allows the Edgemarc router to be assigned a public IP?

Ye that is correct

Did this start as soon as you upgraded, or sometime after? Were there any other changes made to the network?

It happened shortly after the update to 15.5. And yes we made changes to the network. As a precaution we rolled the changes back as of yesterday. We also confirmed with the SIP provider that the calls are not making it out of the 3cx server. So it looks like some sort or intermittent authentication issue or something about the phones using a port the the 3cx server does not like.

It looks like the registration user manes and or password part of 3cx is not working properly, i am goint to do a reinstall
