Hi guys,

I've searched but haven't had any luck, so I'm hoping someone here can assist. A client of mine wants to be able to initiate a call with their corporate support team, make a selection via the support IVR, and then transfer one of their callers to this call. In other words, they don't want their customer to have to navigate their corporate IVR, and instead simply want to transfer directly to the queue. The corporate system is not 3CX. Typically, I would use a speed dial button on a set that supports commas as pauses, but my client is 100% softphone based. I was hoping there was a way to inject DTMF into a call via the CFD, but I cannot find a way to do this.

Any ideas?

There is no way to send DTMFs within a CFD.

I cannot quite follow your description of the call flow. You have two separate phone systems and only one is 3CX. Presumably, you want to transfer a call from the first phone system to the 3CX server while bypassing the 3CX server's IVR?

You may be able to link the two phone systems together with a simulated SIP trunk, and then perform an extension-to-extension transfer. But an easier way would be to transfer the call to a dedicated DID on the 3CX server, and have that DID route the call directly to the queue rather than go through the main IVR on the 3CX server.

You may want to restate your requirements if I have misunderstood your need.
