Outbound Fax

We are trying to do outbound faxes through a Grandstream HT704. All other single line functions on this device are working fine. We cannot get faxes to connect.

ANd Please be basic, I am just a newbie

These devices have only been tested as:

• ATA devices (for Analog Phones to be used as extensions)
• for Voice only (not for fax)

You can try to use the device as a fax device by doing all of the following:

• enable the T38 options on the device
• configure the extension to be a "Fax Extension", NOT a regular extension
