I'm using voip.ms SIP trunk with Canadian DIDs. I've got it set up so that in the outbound parameters of the sip trunk, "Remote Party ID - Calling Party : Display Name" = outbound caller ID taken from extension settings in management console. Single words are passed correctly from the "Outbound Caller ID" field in the general tab of the extension.
I have a few questions for anyone in Canada with 3cx and voip.ms

- Is this a best practice? I haven't been able to get any other setting to pass a name to voip.ms.
- Are there any other ways do do this that can successfully pass a name with spaces in it to voip.ms? (for example JOHN DOE instead of JOHNDOE)
- is voip.ms really the best bang for buck? The cheapest is not always the best, and if anyone has any better SIP trunk provider suggestions for a Canadian nonprofit/Charity (being able to bill in CAD would be a +) I'd be open to switching.
