outlook plugin error on microsoft direct access

We tested using myphone and the outlook plugin before deployment. I think the last update to 3cx broke the outlook plugin over direct access. We are now getting an error, "Error starting 3cx Assistant Microsoft Outlook Addin:"
Value cannot be null.
Parameter name:ip

I know that name has to be used, instead of ip over directaccess, due to the ip6 to 4 translation.
is there any way to edit the plugin config, so that it will work over direct access, maybe a config file we could put the name in?

I also have a requirement for this.

I suspect it has to do with the IP 4to6 translation at the DA server...

Is there a way we can use an FQDN (to change the name in the config to public DNS name of PBX)?
