Patton 2 Port FXS: No administrator login in the provisioning file -> no Password set

The provisioning file for the Patton 2 FXS don't include a administrator login (whle this is done for e.g. the Snom phones) - so they fall back to the default login admin/<empty password>, even if there was a password set before.

Using current stable v16.

Have you tried to follow our provisioning guide first to get the device working, and when you are finished with provisioning then add the password as a last step?

yes, this was my hackfix - but the Patton can be reprovisioned over dhcp option 66 - and after this the password would be gone again - because of this I disabled this for the time being.

Ah I see, that may have been what was causing your problem then.

Our config file does not contain a provisioning URL, we assume that you will only configure this once.

So keep option 66 disabled for this one, and only provision it as per the guide.

To quote from the oriignal 3cx config file for the patton SN4112S:

Ok, it has one, but with a completly wrong tftp url for^^

I can go with the manual provisioning as the settings should not change that often.

Indeed, that was the main idea. In case they change at some point in the future, it's simply a matter of uploading the file again (which does not happen often as you said).
