Hello all;

I want to order "patton sn4171/1e30vhp/eui" gateway to support my PRI in Canada, if it is fully supported and working with the latest version of 3CX? What I need to be considered during provisioning if it is supported.

Works great with 3CX. With 3CX v16SP3 has the templates built in. 3CX v15.5 there are templates you can get from Patton for it.

Thank you for your response and comment.

Ive setup 3 of these units globally since they became supported (and even before they werent with the Patton pre-written templates). Very easy to setup, didn't have any issues (and even if you do they are great for troubleshooting and support).

Only thing to consider is the connection type and channels, ensure the line is presnted RJ45 type and not co-axial (DASS 2) and that the line matches the amount of channels you require (you have quoted the full 30 channel which is fine) but make sure your line is not fractional (10,15 etc) as you can get a smaller capacity unit.

Thanks!

My PRI line is in RJ45 type, and my PRI is a 23 channel.

Actually, except Patton, which is the second good choice? In case; I am not able to get the Patton, I can have another choice to pick.

The SN 4970A is ISDN 30 and supported by 3CX albeit at a little more cost:

I am surprised you cannot get these in Canada - have you tried Gentek: https://www.gentek.com/ or what about one of the U.S distributors ? alternatively you could look online for one of the smartware boxes (see list of supported models posted by @cobaltit ) they are EOL so probably not obtainable via distribution but almost certainly available if you have a search.
