Patton SN4970 compatibility

We are getting ready to upgrade our 3cx system from 15.5 to version 16. We use Patton SN4970 voice gateways running software version 6.9 2017-03-13 H323 RBS SIP

Does anyone know whether or not that is compatible with version 16? I'm seeing some mention of Trinity being the software on new Patton devices instead of SmartWare. There is a newer version of smartware (6.11 2019-07-02). I'm not sure if that is compatible with 3cx either.

Anybody up to snuff on this? Any 3cx techs out there?

If it works now it should continue to work. But I would contact Patton and see about upgrading that unit to Trinity

I agree with @cobaltit still should work fine with v16. Trinity models have been added to the list in SP3 but this did not knock-off the Smartware devices (like yours):https://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/

When you setup a device in 3CX now, for Trinity it will list the models, however for Smartware you just get the option of "Patton ISDN E1" and you can select the number of physical ports your device.

Any issues with the upgrade and re-provision feel free to post on here.
