Hi All
After threatening to do something about our "old" phone solution of ISDN and hardware SIP for a while, recent developments(!) meant we had to escalate the process somewhat and now have a PBX express with your cloud version running nicely and delivered about 4000 calls at the time of writing, which apart from the odd hiccup which we can get to in future threads, i'm really happy with and genuinely wonder why it took us this long in the first place.
I have then now purchased a 16 line enterprise version using the web portal, and stupidly presumed purchasing the upgrade would indeed upgrade the system for me, which upon further reading I could be incorrect and it seems like I need to backup my current version and then restore it to a new version with the new licence key. I did click Deploy in the portal, but I feel this is what it was going to do for me so left it there.
Added to this, i've no idea where the google cloud is hosted (i've logged into my usual suspect accounts and see nothing however Google Cloud is new territory to me so possibly missing something there). I was hoping my cloud provider would stay the same as it's one less thing to worry about and I could then just attach billing to that.
So questions
1. Is it correct I need to backup and then restore with the new licence key?
2. Is it ok to then restore to a new cloud solution if I can't find the old one
2a - Will the old solution then stop working or will It cause conflict with the new solution
Sorry If I missed similar posts somewhere, I couldn't see any
Cheers
Rich
