Hello, is it possible to pause a call for a company to take a credit card payment - then resume the call recording when it's done ? How will it know all digits are in place?
Is this inherent to 3CX or are 3rd party tools required.
 
Hi Joanne,

When using the 3CX Client or the WebClient, each user can see the "Record" button. If recordings are enabled, the button will show us pressed/enabled while on a call.

Now on a per extension basis, you can allow your users to start and stop the recording by pressing this button:

2 things to note:
  • This requires and Enterprise License (as shown in the screenshot from the Management Console)
  • The start/stop is done manually by the user, there is currently no way (at least not built in) where the system can automatically detect the numbers being input, so you are relying on the users to pause the recordings when they should.
