Have a customer with a door phone that when the button is pressed, it dials a ring group. The users can press a DTMF button on their phones which trips the door lock and allows the person into the building.

I see no way to program this DTMF button through the 3cx blf page.

If provisioning is left on in the phone, periodically the phone provisions and the custom DTMF button is lost.

Is there anyway to keep provisioning working, but have it ignore a manually programmed custom button?

The only way you can do this,

1. custom template which are not supported by 3CX

2. Provision the phone, and remove the provisioning url from the phone gui. This allows you to program the keys manually via the gui.

I'm confused. From your description you don't need to do anything on the phone side so I'm not sure why you are concerned about BLFs? Door phone button is pressed, it dials the ring group. A ring group member answers the phone and then just presses # or whatever DTMF the door phone is looking for to unlock. What BLF do you need on the phones?

Unless I change the provisioning url, (as was suggested above) periodically the phone re-provisions and the custom button that was manually programmed is wiped out. It is now blank. Then you have to go back in and manually program the button again. I guess a custom template is the best solution

I understand how provisioning works, but I don't understand what button needs to be provisioned in the first place. Are you initiating a call to the door phone? Or is the DTMF sequence not just a single press (like * or #) to unlock the door so you are sending a DTMF string?
