Phone caller ID not coming up on Yealink T46G

I have a Yealink T46G phone (i have 4 in fact on the same 3CX) - all work fine except this one handset. It refuses to show caller ID. Actions i have taken:

Upgrade 3CX from 15 to 16
Updates all tempates
Updates all firmwares on phones
Factory defaulted the problem phone
re provisioned the problem phone
Used a different phone for the same extension - (defaulted, firmware update and provisioned) same issue
Deleted extension and created a new one with a different extension number - same issue


still have the same issue, no caller ID.

what could it be?

So, external caller ID works?

Is there anything different with how calls route to the set? Forwarded, pass though a ring group etc.? Is t local to the PBX? Same location as the other sets?

no sorry, external caller ID not showing, the BLF flash but screen stay on logo page, internal calls to that extension show the ID. I have just had to factory reset another handset as i accidently deleted the extension that was brought froward from previous versions. Before creating the new extension for the extension i deleted, all was working fine. With the new extension after provisioning the phone i have the same issue again. It seems any new users i create have this issue.

Very frustrating and time consuming. The same applies to a new sip trunk, i have a sip trunk with orbtalk that is a supported provider from 3CX, the trunk from the backup of 15.5 is working and registered, however in the dashboard it says the trunk is not supported. I have tried to create a new trunk with the same registration details and the authentication fails. (of course i disabled the original trunk first)

When the extension is being called from an External caller, does the phone ring and can you answer successfully?
