Hi

I was just wondering what everyone is doing with their SBC's now that 3CX have pulled support for Raspberry Pi's? We have 50+ 3CX customers but this has led to start looking at other PBX's as we never understood why 3CX is the only VoIP system to require an SBC in the first place?

Time and time again I am coming across VoIP setup's where they don't have an SBC and they aren't configuring port forwarding for STUN either, the phones simply 'work'.

It just feels like 3CX have gone from 'awkward' to 'impossible' by forcing the need for an SBC and then pulling support for the cheapest and most convenient hardware.

Am I missing something here? (Sorry in advance if so!)

Cheers!

*BUMP* - Turns out, the new router-phones aren't supported for any DECT phones (i.e. Fanvil X4Uv2 as SBC and Yealink W70B as client). So back to my original question, what is everyone using as SBC's?

Thanks Steve

Ended up not using the management console and just entering the IP of the router-phone manually into the DECT base station web interface under the 'proxy' section. Works fine.
