Pi Static IP?

When you log into the interface what is the command lines to adjust a static IP for the device. The router at the location does not have this capability to reserve the IP

There is a section for settings Static IP.

Would doing this create a problem with registration of FXS devices? I was able to and it’s registering with the static but now the devices won’t keep registration

In the process of settings the IP to static, did you give it a different IP than what it had before? IF you change the IP address, then yes.

What is installed on the Raspberry Pi, a PBX or the SBC?

SBC but I redid the finding on the ht801 to the new IP. I see 487 in the logs

In that case, just to be sure, I'd suggest to Factory Reset the HT801, then do the process from the beginning.

In addition to what my colleague said Just need to point out that depending on what that router does, this may become a problem in the future if the router decides to give the same IP to some other device.

It probably won't be an issue, but in case it does you should then consider to replace it with one that allows DHCP reservation.

Alternatively, if you have no choice, give your SBC the last IP in the subnet (ie. ending in .254) which should at least minimize the chance that IP will be given away.
