pjsua_aud.c ..Unable to open sound device: Unknown pjmedia-audiodev error

I'm getting the following error in 3CXPhoneForWindows.log (*** added by me) when trying to initiate a call from 3CX Client for 3CX Phone System 15.5.12227.5 on Windows and the call cancels right away.

I have already reinstalled both the 3CX client and the sound device, and tried with another sound device. Any tips?

The problem still persists and I cannot execute any calls.

The reason the call cancels immediately is because you are getting the error with the audio device.

Also as a side note, you should consider upgrading to at least V15.5 SP6 as soon as possible to avoid any license activation issues. You can follow the instructions here: https://www.3cx.com/blog/news/pbx-upgrade-update-6/
(this is not the problem though)

In the 3CX Client audio settings I see you have selected the Primary Audio Device. This means that it will try to bind to whatever you have selected as "Primary Audio Device" and "Primary Communication Device" in Windows.
Try the following:
- Set you BT device as the primary device:


If that doesn't work, then try to set in the 3CX Client Audio settings the BT device instead of the Primary. If that also doesn't work, try settings another device.
