We have disabled the option "Play busy prompt when extension is busy" in Settings, General, Global Options.
This is good as when a user dials a phone that is busy they just get a quick message on their phone display saying busy no ringing then answer then sorry busy message from prompt sets.
Although this is working having this option off seems to turn off lots of useful messages for the end user. One example is an 404 number not found. The user receives no message on their phone it just attempts to dial and the user just thinks nothing has happened and tries again before giving up.
Other messages like no trunks available prompts are not played.
Is this by design, I can't see why?
Is there anyway to have no busy prompt but still other useful messages played?
