I ran across this today and thought I would share with everyone...
There's a problem with the default Cisco SPA50x provisioning template that, by default, turns OFF the WMI when the phone is re-provisioned. This value should be commented out (or removed) so that the phone retains its MWI settings prior to re-provisioning. The problem is further compounded by the "periodic resync" feature that forces the phones to re-sync and re-provision if the MWI is on.
