Good afternoon,
We are working on the mass phone replacements and have faced the following problem:
When calling within the network from user "A" to user "B", after a certain period of time the call is transferred to user "C".
User "C" picks up the phone, but user "A" sees on the screen of his phone the number/name/surname of user "B", not "C".
As a result, there is a misunderstanding.
At the same time, this happens both in the case of "Forward To Extension" and in the case of "Forward To Number".
How to set up correctly in this case?
The devices are Yealink T31P.

Yealink firmware version - 124.86.0.40
3CX version - 18.0 Update 7 (Build 312)

P.S. There is no such problems in Android / iOs App.

Hello,

This is expected behavior on 3CX with IP Phones. There is no workaround.

Hi. Is it problem only with Yealink phones or all brands?
Is it possible that problem will be resolved in new firmwares?

Hello,

If you enable forwards and 100 calls 200 but the call is forwarded to 300, then 100 will not get updated. As far as they are concerned, they called 200 and the call was answered.

In a different call flow example, if you perform a transfer instead of a call forward the screen will be updated and you can see who you are really connected to.

So no it is not a matter of phone model or firmware, it's a matter of call flow.

So maybe there is updating timeout for phones? Or something like that.
Because in mobile APP we don't have such problems.

Let me put it differently: updating does not exist for IP phones during call forwards.

The mobile app is different because we write our own apps and we can have this feature there :)
