Progressively more extensions ring on inbound call.

Hi all,

I have a customer who has asked for more extensions to ring on each ring of an inbound call.

I have achieved this with three ring groups, however the end result of this appears to that to the extensions each ring group is a new call, so the initial phones have missed calls and the latter phones actually see one of the initial phones as who the call is from.

Previously using Asterisk based setups I found each new extension was simply added in to the same call. Is there a similar solution in 3CX?

Have you tried changing the method from 'Ring All' to 'Prioritized Hunt' ?

Thanks for your suggestion.

My understanding of Prioritized Hunt is that it just moves the call on to the next available extension.

Is that correct or does it keep ringing the original extension as well?

Ahh your right, I never looked at the tool tip. I was thinking it worked as you wanted. I think your workaround is the closest you're going to get.
