provisioning config not found

Hello,


when I go to phones, select a phone (with a custom template) and then select "Config" it says 404 File not found.


I changed the provisioning template, but all phones are still using the old version of the template.
Any ideas how to proceed?

Hi Daniel,

My first thoughts is something to do with file location, can you confirm the folder path where you put your custom template and does it appear when configuring/provisioning your extension?

You didn't amend the default template did You?

If it was an error with the template itself you would get a list of errors on provisioning - which look like a lot of garbelled text.

I went to settings -> templates and then copied a template and then edited the copy.

I do not know the folder path where the custom template is put at, as I made/edited it useing the 3cx Managementwebsite.

Where would I see the provisioning errors? I get nothing in the event log.

some additional info:

I factory resetted a yealink t48g. It then shows up as "new" in phones.
I asign it to an extension using the default template for the phone.
Then I reboot the phone. It gets the 3cx background (so some part of provisioning works), but it does not provision the account or anything else. So the phone still shows "no service" and in 3CX shows up under the "new" phone.

What version of 3cx

In ver 15 and above, yealink phones require extra steps -

What are the extra steps? unfortunatley I do not find any yealink specific steps in the link you mentioned.

Also this worked flawlessly until recently (yesterday afternoon?)

Update: after factory reseting the yealink for the second time I can provision it again with the default template.
