Push Notification Only Works on Samsung and iPhones

Hello 3cx community, i have been having an issue with 3cx especially on the extensions provisioned on mobile devices.
I noticed that the app works perfectly on iPhone and Samsung Phones even when I close the application on the devices.

On other type pf mobile phones i.e techno, infinix, oppo, itel and the rest when you close the application users will not receive calls until they open the app, they will find missed calls.
Is that how this is supposed to work?

I believe the Samsung and iPhone way is perfect.

Anyone with such an issue and has a solution?

Hi @vincent Kavila,

Ideally all devices should receive Push notifications and wake up the app to handle the incoming communications, but sadly this is not the case in the real world. The varying behavior that we have observed so far on our test devices, may be attributed to:
- the manufacturer's custom battery-saving mechanism & configuration - more info here.
- network environment conditions and effective policies
- the specific device firmware combined with the hardware specs and capabilities
This is a matter that we are still investigating.
