Hey, I may not be in the right category here, I apologize. I am in the process of moving our organization from traditional analog phones to hosted 3cx pro. I've read/heard in a roundabout way that voip doesn't need rollover lines but can handle unlimited calls on one number. Is this true for 3cx? Spectrum outright says it here on the first drop down answer: https://www.spectrumvoip.com/features/unlimited-rollover-lines/ but I wanted reassurance to know if this is true on 3cx. I wondered if it's true that if multiple people tried to call the main number at one time, the main number would not ring "busy" and also not use a seperate (rollover) number but just route the extra callers to available receptionists.
Our old (current) phone system is setup with one main line with two seperate rollover lines if the main is busy. If we could get rid of the rollover lines and just port the one main line, that would be handy and save us money but I don't want to lose those rollover lines if we still need them. Thanks.
