Random Forward to One of Two Ring Groups

Hi,

I have a client who wants to forward their Reception's unanswered calls randomly (or alternating) to one of two ring groups, then if unanswered by that ring group, to ring the other

E.g.,
1. Reception - Incoming from External - Unanswered
2. Random/Alternate RingGroup1 or RingGroup2 - Unanswered
3. Ring the other Ring Group not called in step 2 - Unanswered
4. Go back to reception as Internal so can go to voice mail this time if Unanswered

How could this be done?

If you have pro license, you may use a queue with random call distribution or similar method (one group of agents). With std license not all methods are available. This should do the job.

Does not meet your requirements,hardest part is the random calling group

Probably need 'Hunt random start'

Just remember to log the extension into the Queue, else it will not work
