Raspberry Pi 4 for SBC - Worth it to get the 8GB(RAM) model over the 4GB?

I'm just wondering if 8GB is overkill and wildly unnecessary vs the 4GB model? The 8GB is $40 more. I'm going to be using this purely to host the SBC. At present I have 1 phone and one extension.

2GB model is fine. Heck, I still have some Pi 2 SBCs out there, no problems.

Good to know. I'm really... nay, REALLY green when it comes to voip. This is my first setup and I've sworn if I need to expand in the future(and I will), I'll hire this out. I noticed in the 3CX instructions for installing SBC to the Rpi, it also mentions installing the pbx to it. What are the benefits of 3CX hosting the pbx as opposed to me installing it locally onto the Pi?
