My SBC has stopped working. Phone firmware does not update since v16 update several weeks ago and now will not provision. I attempted to "push config" many times, restarted and still nothing.

sbc.cf190d89.3CX Session Border Controller in red and unable to update its configuration.

In frustration I ran the following an an attempt start again:
sudo apt remove 3cxsbc --purge

Now when I try to re-install using the following I get "error - unsupported debian version jessie"
wget http://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/sbc/3cxsbc.zip -O- | sudo bash

cat /etc/os-release
PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie)"
NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux"
VERSION_ID="8"
VERSION="8 (jessie)"
ID=raspbian
ID_LIKE=debian
HOME_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/"
SUPPORT_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianForums"
BUG_REPORT_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianBugs"

How do I resolve this?

Many thanks for some guidance.

Upgrade to Debian 9 Stretch (in your case Raspbian 9 Lite). Then reinstall SBC.

Debian 8 is no longer supported since V16.

Was it the Raspberry 3B+ model?
