Hello,

I installed a 3CX hosted instance for a customer of ours and got it up and running perfectly.

It won't let me log in with the credentials I have recorded. I don't remember having changed them, but in case I did, is there a way to reset the username and/or password of the admintrator user?

I saw other forum threads that say that missing the password twice gets you a Forgot Password option, but I am not getting it.

Thanks,

Luis

Hi,

Indeed you can recover your admin credentials using the forgot password option. Note that the username must be correct in order for the Forgot Password to be appeared but using incorrect password, twice.

Default username is 'admin' if you haven't change it. Check also your spam folder!

Hi Alexis,

Thank you. I did get the Forget Password option (I did change the user name), but after clicking it, it says that:

"An Email containing password reset instructions could not be sent. Contact your Administrator."

Is there anything else I can try?

Thanks,

Luis

If you have a backup you can restore and in the last page you can see the password.

There are other unsupported methods as well if you don't.

@luis.ramos FQDN points to the correct ip address of the hosted PBX ?
Because if you have one more installation with the same key which points to another ip address then you will have this issue.
