recover / reset root password

is there any way to recover or reset the root password for the debian cli ??

i documented this at the time but it doesnt seem to be working perhaps i made a mistake

alternatively i need to pull the file for call logs maybe there is another way to accomplish this without root access?

Sure is and it has nothing to do with 3CX. A Google search for recovery root password should get you sorted.
