Issue with redialing using history - dialed manually from keypad.
I have multiple SIP with outbound rules spiking first digit. 0-A, 5-B
When i got external calls inbound add 0 to A and 5 to B SIP. Redail works - no digit strip.
Issue come when I dial manual from keypad 01234 number - 0 is striped and in history save number 1234.
I cant redial from history second time - prefix is missing ! Same with prefix 5 !
Can you help me plese. I need in history exactly same number like I dialed it manualy from keypad!

After many trial i found out it is defensively some BUG in history list.
The first digit is not stripped from all numbers but this ones for sure :
00012345 - 0012345 - 012345 - 12345 - 12345 ...
000800xxx - 00800xxx - 0800xxx - 0800xxx ...

when I dial manual from keypad 01234 number - 0 is striped and in history save number 1234.

This sounds to be a set issue. What phone model are you using? Do you use a model where this does work correctly? Is it oly the zero not being saved? If you try dialling a call with a 9 prefix (even if that number format is incorrect on your system), is the 9 not saved, when you re-dial?

I am trying this from web client and 3CX Android app both produce the same result. Look like this happen only to to 0 in front . I have outbound rule with 5 which work OK. I tried 912345 (9 outbound not exist) - number is saved correctly in history list.

Earlier you said...

I cant redial from history second time - prefix is missing ! Same with prefix 5 !

Now you are saying...

Look like this happen only to to 0 in front . I have outbound rule with 5 which work OK.

So it is only numbers with a leading zero having the issue?

Does this happen on multiple phones using the Android App? Which version(s) are you using?

Android 10. But also web client have the same issue. This is the problem with leading 0 only.

Came across some posts dealing with the same issue (one from 10 years ago!). If this is a bug (and not a miss-configured option on the phone), I'm not sure why it hasn't come up more often. One offers a "solution" of creating another outbound rule to match the number as dialled and prefix the zero.

There is no option to make rule with prefix 0 !
Since 00800 & 0800 also 001 & 01 & 1 are valid call numbers !
It is sad that so old and basic history redialing bug in soft-phone is not been fixed !!!
