Regenerate welcome email

OK, I've looked around but I can't find how to regenerate the welcome email for an extension. Is there a way to do this?

Goto Extensions, select the extension who you wish to send the welcome mail, click “Send welcome mail”

Dear 3cx Admins

Is there a possibility to send the welcome email automated trough the API? As far as I know, the API is only for call control, so please correct me if i'm wrong.

For example we would like to use it in a web application. Where registered users can send the config file to them self by clicking a button.
