Register PSTN to Lancom 1724

I am trying to register the PSTN line to a Lancom 1724 gateway.
Well, and it does not work. I have checked the documentation for the other gateway.
The problem might be that I can set a password in the SIP-PBX configuration of the gateway but no authentication ID. Any help is appreciated.

If there is a password most likely there will be an id somewhere.

Could it be the name of the device?

Alternative you can also set the option that no registration is required.

I do not know the device, but have a go at the above suggestions.

This gateway should be for ISDN line
Four ISDN ports (NT/TE) for 8 parallel ISDN channels

It should be not for Analog PSTN lines. I just want to make sure that your existing telephone line type, ISDN or analog PSTN line? If ISDN, please try DID/DDI setting.
