hi there, I have a SIP trunk from my telecom provider here in india which I want to use it with my hosted 3CX.
the SIP trunk is provided through a Ethernet cable to my office and i was using this trunk with my 3cx installed locally.
now i have moved 3CX on cloud and i want to use my SIP trunk which was terminated at my office with this hosted 3CX phone system.
any ideas?

You'd have to setup a VPN. It's basic networking. Have to setup communication between point A and point B

The Ethernet cable came from...what...a gateway device, at your office, which you provided, or they provided?
I assume you have asked, if they will simply allow you to connect a SIP trunk, directly from 3CX (or any PBX), without the need for a gateway.

No, you need to use a supported SIP trunk directly in 3CX and forget about using this sip trunk.

i cant do that, as we do not have any 3CX supported SIP trunks in india.

true, but how can I setup a VPN if it is a hosted by 3CX?
if there is a way, then please let me know how?

its through a optical fiber all the way to my office. and there is a ONT from which the Ethernet cable coming in.
this Ethernet is connected to my LAN in the office and 3CX can reach the SIP trunk.

What was the reason for moving 3CX to cloud hosted, before confirming that you could also connect your trunks?

3CX does not allow for VPN access. Even if you do find a provider that offers VPN, you would likely pay more for the VPN than you would for the VM. You are better off sticking with 3CX on-premise.

In this case as described above, Hosted by 3CX is not the correct solution for you.
The trunk limitation mandates that you keep the PBX on-premises.

If you want to use Hosted by 3CX, you could however take a look at our international providers, and see if they provide services for your country https://www.3cx.com/partners/sip-trunks/worldwide/
