Replace license key - Free

Hi,
I deleted my current trial key and created a new one.
However, there was already an installation with the old key.
I tried to replace it but I'm getting: "This key is a free key and cannot be used to replace your current license key. Only commercial license keys can be used to replace existing keys."
Would it be possible to keep this instance with the revoked key?

You will have to

Backup the current system, without FQDN and license info.

Log into the customer portal - this was created when you setup 3CX and release the license key from the fqdn.

Uninstall 3CX

Reinstall 3CX using the backup taken previously,

I am not sure on windows, but debian ssh into server run this command as root /usr/sbin/3CXWizard --cleanup if not as root use this command sudo /usr/sbin/3CXWizard --cleanup

Excellent, then it would be a "fresh" 3cx and I will be able to restore a backup-with-no-license-key and manually enter a free key instead or the NFR one?
