Hello,
One of our customers received an incomplete monthly report with the following warning in the email that was sent by 3cx:

"* The report is incomplete because the query contains too many records."

- I understand there is no way to bypass this error, correct?
- What is the limit of records that can be included in a 3cx report?

Thank you in advance,
George

Hi @GeorgeTs,

Please note that the maximum lines of a report is 10000. Anything longer than that will present you with this error.

Hi @GeorgeTs

With JEDWare you will be able to pull a complete report for a month, export it to a CSV and handle the whole month in Excel or something else

Try it out, it is free and you can test with your customers data to see if it suit you (and not least your Customer)

SETTINGS -> Parameters -> Search for "REPORT_ROW_LIMIT"

I run on 20,000 no problem.

Thank you everyone for your answers!
@VasilisV_3CX can you confirm that changing the REPORT_ROW_LIMIT is not expected to cause any problems?

@GeorgeTs

The said parameter should have a set value of 20000. Setting this value to anything higher can have adverse effects on the system such as slowing it down; if you do go down this path, do consider scheduling reports to run during a time when the PBX is idle to avoid affecting other operations.

Provided the system at hand is compliant with our hardware requirements you can give it a try but do bear in mind, that, should you face any issues with it, I'd recommend reverting the parameter back to it's default value as we generally do not recommend modifying parameters unless instructed to do so by a 3CX engineer.
