Solved reset fanvil i18s

Anyone have a clue on how to reset a Fanvil i18s? It's the one with no keys.

I assume you mean you can't log into the web interface to reset it? If not one of the two links below might help.

the stuff on 3cx will not work, as there is no keys on the i18s, I opened a ticket with their support, but I'm not holding my breath on an answer from them.

Oh that's right, you said no keys . Yeah I searched through the manual and didn't see anything other than doing it via the web interface. If you purchased through distribution they may be able to help.

I emailed 3cx and Finvil, so we will see

You will need to pull out the motherboard - It has 2 buttons on it "#" and "*"

The hardware reset code is #****#* . After press it , there will be a beep and device will do the reset reboot automatically.

Hello, I see those buttons now, but the reset does not seem to work. I do get 2 quick beeps, but nothing after that.

Set you PC to a static IP of 192.168.10.2. Press * and # simultaneously whilst powering on.

Then use telnet to connect to 192.168.10.1 and clear the config. Just done this today on one and confirmed that it works. Also attached instructions from fanvil

The default IP of the i18s when factory reset is 192.168.1.128 so give yourself a static IP on that subnet.
