Restore breaks backup when the versions dont match?

Just moving my instance from A to B and B wasnt at the same version as A.

Got a backup failure notification to say this..

Updated B and went to restore again but it said my backup didnt exist.. when it does..

Uploaded it again and restored.

Does 3CX flag this file once an attempt has been made?
