I see we still have to set

allowUseBusyOptForGroup=1

manually in V6.

I know there was a geat reluctance to reintroduce this facility in the later versions of V5 but this along with a few other 'configurables' are tucked away in the ini file.

Development team, please make them easily accessibe.

We're tending to move as much options as possible from INI file into database in V7. Probably, INI file will have only some startup options which might be queried for before DB service is started.

Has anyone come up with a solution to this problem. I am also looking to use multiple lines on my phones and need the receptionists to place current calls on hold and pick up new ones from the same phone.

I don't have a v7 system up anymore, but on v8 RC1 you can go to Settings, Advanced, Custom Parameters, and change ALLOWUSEBUSYOPTFORGROUP to be 1. Save your changes, and then restart the 3CX Phone System service.
