Hello to all of you,

Does anyone know if the Fanvil iW30 supports an "only ring" function or do you know any other supported device?
I need an external ringer for a normal Yealink phone.

Thx!

You could set up an ATA, with the same extension number, then attach any analogue ringer device, that is used on a PSTN telephone line.

Yeah sure. But, correct me if i'm wrong, isn't the cheapest supported ATA device (Beronet SB Gateway 4x FXS) already at about 280 €?
So the Fanvil iw30 would be cheaper and I would only need one device.

You are not required to use a supported device if you feel confident in manually programming it. There are less expensive single, or two port devices. If you were putting in a dozen, then I certainly wouldn't recommend it, but a one off, yes.

No at all. You can get a Grandstream HT801 in the $30-40 range, assign the same extension as the one you want to monitor, and then connect an analog bell to it.

Just make sure to use an analog bell that is powered since ATAs usually don't provide a lot of current
