Hello,
I have a 3cx installation that use a beronet gateway to receive and send calls. 3cx works very well but we have 2 problems (i think is really the same).
1) when i call from my mobile the 3cx, all ip phones rings after 7-8 seconds (the gateway receive from fxo and send the call to 3cx in less than 1 second).
2) when i call from any ip phone connected to 3cx, when the timer of call starts, 3cx wait 7-8 second before sending the call, in fact i receive the call in my mobile after 7-8 seconds.

Anyone can help me?

Thanks

Francesco

It may be two different issues, if I'm interpreting correctly. For incoming, check the 3CX Activity Log to see where the delay actually occurs.

Number 2, would seem to be an outgoing delay, correct? Part of that may be the phone itself. Do you press a "dial" key, or use an internal dialplan to send the dialled digits, or do you wait for a timeout?

Again, the Activity Log will show how long 3CX takes to process the received digits and pass on to the gateway so you should be able to see where the delay is happening.

I agree with leejor for your #2. -> Do you press the DIAL button after dialing ?
There is a delay in most of IP phones where they will only start dialing by themselves after a couple of seconds from the last digit you entered. In HTEK for example it is about 5 seconds.

Regarding your #1, when you say the gateway sends the call to 3cx in a second: do you have 3cx logs available to see what's going on ?

This is the activity log for an incoming call (5seconds call). My mobile starts ringing 7 second before the ip phone rings.
Why?
In the log the first information is at 14:48:58 but the first ring in my mobile is at 14:48:51.
The log transfer the call to 3cx at 14:48:52.

From the attached logs i can see no delay from the system. The call arrives in the system from the Beronet at 14:48:58.
The call is answered at 14:48:59 and terminated at 14:49:05 as the logs suggest.

There could be a delay before the call reaches the phone system or your mobile carrier starts sending ringing before the device actually starts ringing.

We tried by many other phones and the problem is exactly the same... if i connect a standard telephone at the plug in the wall the phone rings immediatly at the first ring i can heard in my mobile so ... i think there is some problem between Beronet and 3cx, someone can help me to resolve this issue?

So you start to get ringback, on your mobile 7 seconds before the IP starts to ring, is that what you mean? If this is a PSTN gateway, and you use Bellcore type caller ID, then, at minimum, there is a 3 second delay required before an incoming call is sent to the PBX. This delay may currently be set to a longer period in your gateway. This delay is to allow collection of the caller ID information sent between the first and second ring.
