Solved route extension through specific trunk

Hi, I have two sip trunk providers and I want to route one extension through one of the providers, how can I do that automatically?

I'm assuming you mean outbound so you would do it the same way you would route any outbound call and that would be via outbound rules.

Yes

Inbound rules are for incoming calls to 3cx https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/inbound-did-call-routing/

Outbound rules are for outgoing calls form 3cx

Make sure the outbound rule is above the generic rules, as rules are process for the top to bottom

Well inbound is easy since since DIDs are unique and can only be on one trunk. But yes as far as routing that DID to a specific extension you would do that via inbound rules.
