Hi everyone,

I am trying to route calls coming to a specific DID to different queues based on the country code. I have checked CID routing but it seems that it is per SIP trunk and not per extension.
Is anyone doing something similar or I have to use CFD for that?

Thank you!

Hi,

yes the problem is you cant have inbound for CID and for DID at the same time. I dont understand why 3cx cant do that. I had created a ticket to support team and they told me its not possible and admit its not convenient at all.

Only way I have found to bypass this is to use a workaround by creating a dummy extension and use exception transfer rules. In inbound rule you filter by DID to theses dummies extension, and in theses extension exception transfer rule you filter by CID to redirect to where you want. But so far I only used this for particulars CIDs and not to filter depending on the country prefix then I dont know if it could work in your case.

Hi George,

I believe you should be able to do what you want for your specific DID if you set it up as a second trunk.

If this is not possible for any reason (ie provider doesn't allow 2 registrations) you might be able to get it done using CFD.
