route inbound calls

I have combed though the forums and could not find an answer. I would like to be able to route inbound calls from a certain number to a certain extension and not have it ring any other extension. But to have all other call traffic flow normally without the use of a digital receptionist. Is this possible with the "free" version of 3cx?

Routing based on Caller ID is only possible at an extension level and not on individual inbound lines. Please post this as a feature request.

Hi there

You can achieve this using a dummy extension in V7.

Create an extension, say extension 444, that does not exist, and therefore will never register.

For extension 444, set a forwarding rule based on callerid, set the callerID you want to match, select all hours, select all calls, and select the destination for this particular caller. Now set another forwarding rule based on phone not registered, select all hours, select all calls, and select the destination for all other callers.
