Hi,

I have setup our 3CX server to talk directly to our Mitel ICP 3300 as a VoIP Gateway, and have got calls going to and from 3CX<->Mitel working successfully.

What I can't seem to enable, is to allow calls from the Mitel, thru the 3CX server to go out via a VoIP Provider. For example

Mitel (x1267) -> 3CX (x3000) - Works
3CX (x3000) -> VoipProviderA (0487XXXXXX) - Works

Mitel (x1267) -3CX with destination of 0487XXXXXX - does not work, I am getting the following in the log files....Does anyone know how I enable the 3CX server to accept and process calls from one VoIP Gateway/Provider and out another ?

I have the 3CX-Mitel link setup as no authentication required.

On the Mitel did you setup a trunk to the 3cx or a extension?

The best way I have seen to setup the two boxes is by creating a trunk on the mitel and a master bridge on 3cx. If that doesn't work, then a trunk on the Mitel to a extension on a the 3cx.

The trunk on the mitel will need to have the routing setup and 3cx will need to have the same outbound route setup. The one thing that you will lose is the caller id information from the mitel, everything will go out as the extension number on 3cx

jasit.

I also tried that, by creating an extension on 3CX and then on the Mitel setting up the Sip Peer using that extension and authentication, and could see that it registered on the 3CX server.

Internal calls works to 3CX extensions, but it would not send the calls out thru a VoIP provider, even though the call was showing in the logs as coming from the registered extension.

Maybe i'll just have to wait for local 3CX engineer support to sort it out.
