We have several PBX instances deployed on AWS Lightsail including our own organizations.
All instances have been running flawless for the las 8+ months.
Recently we have been getting user complaining of not being able to hear callers. OR Callers can't hear them.
After digging around we found that firewall checks failed last Thursday for 50% of all instances (so not all instances are impacted, or users are just not reporting issues).
That being said we poked around at config and the issue sort of resolved it self without really changing anything. Same thing occurred Yesterday and now this morning.
Efforts to find root issue have not been successful, and it seems to be random. First time we changed our instance location from East-NJ to East-VA thinking it might have been network related but don't think that REALLY solved the issues. We tried to find out issue and contacted AWS support but after 2 hours of trying firewall passed and things become normal.
Has anyone else experienced this sort of behavior before with a cloud provider? We are slowly in the process of transition instances to 3CX Hosted, but it would be nice to get some feedback.
