Hi,

We have an SBC that every 2 or 3 minutes the UDP status goes down:
Build Version16.0.386
Agents Behind SBC0
Calls Behind SBC0
TCP EncryptedNo
TCP Packets Received/Sent2/0
UDP StatusDOWN
UDP EncryptedNo
UDP Packets Received/Sent0/0
UDP Ping- ms
Operating SystemRaspbian
System CPU Usage%
System Memory Usage%
SBC Memory Usage%
Disk Usage%
Bandwidth used from PBX (Rx)-
Bandwidth used to PBX (Tx)-

The calls are not normally affected but 2/3 times a day the calls are actually dropping and causing 1-2 minutes downtime.

The customer is running a fibre leased line and the line is steady, and there is no packet loss. I verified this by running a ping to the phone system for 24 hours.

The UDP NAT timeout on the dreytek firewall is set to 1800s.

The Raspberry PI has been swapped.

Any Ideas?

You said the Pi has been swapped. Did this include a new microsd card? And how is this being powered? If not using a quality power adapter you can run into issues like this.

This is using a new micro sd card and a offical new power supply.

The 3cx sbc service is not stopping, and the network on the PI is not dropping out.

Looks like sometimes UDP packets to port 5090 from SBC do not reach PBX.
Does your firewall let you log discarded packets?

If that happens all the time, the firewall is clearly misconfigured.

The firewall rules have been completly disabled as a test and the issue continued.

Strangely, I upgraded the system to 16.3 and the SBC to 16.0.390 last night and the issue seems to be resolved.

Meaning, that now UDP channel is UP and consistently so?
This is good but yet strange as nothing in this area has been changed in latest version.

I kept an eye on it for about half an hour and didnt see a drop once, when historically it was dropping every 2-3 minutes.

I will keep an eye on it for the new couple of days and report back.
